Deep racks (Drive-In/Drive-Thru)
It is a system constructed on the basis of pallet racks, providing work of equipment inside of racks. Deep pallet racks are convenient in case of need storages of essential volumes of the same freight with a long expiration date at small turnover. Such systems allow to use economically warehouse, because there is no any passes between ranks of racks.
Deep racks can be divided into two main types
Drive-in Processing of freight in Drive-in racks is carried out on the LIFO model (Last In - First Out). Pallets with freight arrive on a rack and are shipped from it only from one end face.
Drive-Thru Processing of freight in racks of Drive-Thru is carried out on the FIFO model (First In - First Out). In this case pallets with freight arrive on a rack and are shipped from it from the opposite sides.
